I really like how subtly you melded the two photographs together. At first glance there is something quite eerie about the photograph, but the extra set of arms doesn't really jump out at you. The extra set of arms look so natural, which makes the photograph even more disquieting and is truly a testament to your skill as a photographer. Bravo!

Likewise I really like the choice you made in terms of going for black and white over color. With a black and white photograph the sudden transition from the oval shape of the photo to the stark white of the frame is quite striking. It isolates your model within that discrete oval very effectively- I feel the oval photograph is almost floating in a sea of stark white.

Additionally, (while I don't know if this was your intention) the shape of your digital frame so to speak is reminiscent of the stylistic conventions of the carte-de-visite which reinforces the antique feel of the photograph.

In short I really like the photograph- you managed to make it creepy and disquieting without making it blatant or grotesque which can be quite a difficult line to straddle. Thank you for an incredible image.
